Afternoon Tea at Garleton Lodge
Following the success of our Charity Afternoon Tea in February – which raised £1,000 for our chosen charity (Help Luke) – our Special Mother’s Day Afternoon Tea was so popular we hosted two sittings enjoyed by 50+ guests!
Spectacular Views – Sunrise, Sunset & Wildlife
We are really privileged at Garleton Lodge to have spectacular 360 degree views towards Edinburgh, across the Forth and the surrounding East Lothian coast and countryside.
All guest rooms have a view and our restaurant offers views stretching from the Lammermuir and Pentland Hills, Edinburgh’s skyline and bridges and across the Forth to the Fife coast. On a clear day, guests can see Ben Lomond in the west, the Cairngorms to the north as well as Aberlady Bay, Bass Rock and North Berwick Law.
This provides guests with a fantastic vantage point to get their bearings whilst planning the day ahead – or if you are lucky then you may be treated to an incredible sunset whilst dining in our restaurant in the evening.
For golfers, numerous courses can be spotted including many that are part of Scotland’s Golf Coast Road.
Take a look at the gallery on our website for some stunning photographs. Garleton Lodge also offers guests an unparalleled opportunity to watch local wildlife including deer, hares, rabbits, stoats and numerous wild birds including many different birds of prey. Binoculars are provided!
