At Garleton Lodge we offer our guests an excellent choice of delicious food showcasing mainly locally sourced ingredients and our bar also stocks Scottish gins, whiskies, beers and other locally made drinks so that you can enjoy the best that Scotland and East Lothian has to offer during your stay.
Our restaurant has been given Visit Scotland Taste Our Best Awards each year in 2017, 2018, 2019 & 2020 and offers spectacular views across the Firth of Forth, Edinburgh and East Lothian countryside. Our bar (Glenkinchie Lounge) is accredited by The Whisky Ambassador.
Restaurant Opening Times
Normally, in the absence of Government restrictions, our restaurant is open to residents only on Friday & Saturday nights between 7pm and 9pm offering a full three course a la carte menu – prior booking is essential.
Between Monday, 26 April and Monday, 17 May Government restrictions require us to close our restaurant at 8pm and during this period we are not permitted to serve alcohol with meals. From Monday, 17 May Government restrictions are expected to be lifted so that we can return to our normal full restaurant service including the sale of alcohol with meals.
Between Monday, 26 April and Monday, 17 May Government restrictions only permit the consumption of alcohol outdoors including the hot tub. From Monday, 17 May Government restrictions are expected to be lifted so that alcohol can once again be served in our bar and restaurant.
Each of our rooms has a fully stocked in-room mini-bar. Under the terms of our licence, alcohol brought in by guests is not permitted.
